သူငယ္ခ်င္း ဝသာန္ရဲ႕ ခဏ ခဏဖုန္းေခၚျပီး လုပ္နည္းေရးဖို႔ပူဆာတဲ႔ ဆီထမင္းအလြယ္နည္းေလးပါ။ ပုံမွန္အားျဖင့္ ဒယ္နဲ႔ပဲ ဆီထမင္းကိုထိုးေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ ဒါကေတာ့ Multicooker ထမင္းေပါင္းအိုးနဲ႔လုပ္လိုက္တာပါ။ ခဏ ခဏသြားမၾကည့္ရတဲ႔နည္းေလးေပါ့။ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေလးက နဲနဲပ်င္းတတ္လို႔  ဒီနည္းေလး သူ႕အတြက္ေရး ေပးတာပါ။ ေအာက္မွာဒယ္နဲ႔ထိုးတဲ႔နည္းေလးပါေရးေပးထားပါတယ္။ အဲဒါက အိသက္ရဲ႕ ေယာက္ၡမ ေမေမ လန္ဒန္လာတုန္းက သင္ေပးခဲ႔တာပါ။

My friend Wathan calls me every now and then to nudge me for a recipe of this oiled glutinous rice. It is simple to do. Usually, it is cooked with a frying pan. This time, I cooked it wih a mulitcooker so that you don’t have to go and see very often. My friend is a bit lazy to keep an eye on things like that so this method is perfect for her. Below that I have also written the method of cooking the oiled glutinous rice with a deep frying pan. And that method was taught by my mother-in-law who I regard as my mother.

ၾကက္သြန္နီပါးပါးလီွးျပီးေၾကာ္ကာ ဆီစစ္ထားပါ။
ထမင္းေပါင္းအိုးထဲတြင္ ဆီထဲ႔ ပူလာရင္ ေရေဆးျပီးသား ေကာက္ညႇင္းဆန္ ကို ထဲ႔ပါ။ ေရကို ၁မွတ္ခြဲေနရာမွာထားကာ ဆား၊ ဆႏြမ္းမႈန္႕ ထဲ႔ကာ ထမင္းခ်က္သလိုခ်က္ပါ။

Contents (1 serving)
-1 cup of Glutinous Rice
-1tbl spoon of salt
– 1 tea spoon of turmeric powder
-1tbl spoon of peanut oil
– 1 onion
Crisp-fry the slices of onion and put it on top of kitchen tower. Pour a bit of oil in the rice cooker and when it gets hot add the washed glutinous rice. Pour the water to 1.5 level and add salt, turmeric and simply cook it like you cook rice.

 


ခ်က္လို႔ က်က္သြားရင္ Slow cooking system ႏွိပ္ျပီးတခါ ၁၅မိနစ္ေလာက္ထပ္ခ်က္လိုက္ရင္ ေအာက္ဘက္မွာ ဂ်ိဳးကပ္လာပါမယ္။ အဲဒါဆိုရပါျပီ။

Once it is cooked, press the slow cooking button and let it cook for 15 minutes until lightly burnt at the bottom then it is ready.

ထမင္းေပါင္းအိုးထဲမႇာ Slow cooking system မပါရင္ က်က္ျပီးသားဆီထမင္းကိုယူကာ Non stick ဒယ္ေပၚမွာ  ဒီလိုေလးအပူေပးျပီး ဂ်ိဳးကပ္ေအာင္ထားျပီးရင္ ရပါျပီ။

If there isn’t any slow cooking system in the rice cooker, you can transfer the cooked oiled glutinous rice to non stick frying pan by light heating it until lightly burnt then it’s ready.


ေၾကာ္ထားျပီးသား ၾကက္သြန္ေၾကာ္ ,စားေတာ္ပဲျပဳတ္/Boiled Green peas or Garden peas ၊ငါးရံ့ေျခာက္တို႔နဲ႔ တြဲစားလို႔ အလြန္ေကာင္းတဲ႔ျမန္မာ႐ိုးရာ မနက္စာေလးပါ။

It is a very traditional Myanmar breakfast to go very well with the crisp fried onion, boiled green peas or garden peas and dried striped snakehead fish.

Cook with frying pan method

All contents are the same as above. Crisp-fry the onion and put in on top the kitchen tower.

 

အဲဒီၾကက္သြန္ဆီ စားပြဲတင္ဇြန္း၂ဇြန္းနဲ႔ပဲဒယ္ထဲမွာမီးအေနေတာ္ေလာက္နဲ႔ဆား၊ ဆႏြမ္း၊ ေကာက္ညင္းဆန္ထဲ႔ ေရကို ဆန္အေပၚလက္တစစ္နီးပါးထဲ႔ျပီး မီးအေနေတာ္နဲ႔႔တည္ထားပါ။ အဖုံးအုပ္ထားပါ။

With that oil 2tbl spoons from the crisp fried onion are put into the pan with a medium heat with salt, turmeric, washed glutinous rice and add the water almost an inch above the rice level and boil it by covering it with a lid.

ေရခမ္းျပီးဆန္လဲႏွပ္ျပီဆိုရင္ဖ်စ္ဖ်စ္ျမည္လာပါမယ္၊ ဂ်ိဳးကပ္ေနျပီဆိုတဲ႔သေဘာပါ။ ကိုယ္ၾကိဳက္တဲ႔အေနေလာက္ရျပီဆိုရင္  မီးပိတ္လိုက္ပါ။ အိသက္ကေတာ့ non stick pan နဲ႔လုပ္တာမို႔ ဂ်ိဳးခြါရတာမခက္ပါဘူး။

You can hear the sizzling sound when it’s cooked and meant that it is starting to burn. Once you like your favourite burnt then switch off. I used the non stick pan to it is fairly easy to take the lightly burnt apart.

အကယ္၍ ႐ိုး႐ိုးအိုးနဲ႔လုပ္တာဆိုရင္ ဂ်ိဳးမခြါခင္ ေရေအးထဲ႔ထားတဲ႔အိုးေပၚကိုဒယ္ကိုတင္ျပီမွခြါပါ။ ေရေအးအရွိန္ေၾကာင္႔ ဂ်ိဳးခြါရတာလြယ္သြားပါမယ္ေနာ္။

But if you did that with no non stick pan, before you separate the lightly burnt from the pan, you can put that pan onto the pot contains cold water first then it is easier to take apart the lightly burnt from the pan due to the effect of cold water.
