ၾကက္ဆီထမင္း ကိုစားဖူးတာ ပထမဆုံးရည္းစားနဲ႔ ခ်ိန္းေတြ႕တုံးကပါ။ ဆိုင္နံမည္လဲမမွတ္မိပါဘူး။ အဲဒီကတည္းကၾကိဳက္တာ။ အဝေတာင္မစားခဲ႔ရပါဘူး။ ပထမဆုံးရည္းစားလဲျဖစ္ ပထမဆုံးခ်ိန္းေတြ႕တာလဲျဖစ္ဆိုေတာ့ အိုက္တင္ခံျပီး သိပ္မစားႏိုင္ဘူးလို႔ မ်က္လႊာေလးခ်ျပီးေနရတာေပါ့။ ေနာက္မွ ကိုယ္႔ဘာသာျပန္လာဝယ္စားမယ္ဆိုျပီးအားတင္းရင္းေပါ့။ ေတြးၾကည့္ရင္ အဲဒီရည္းစားလဲ ကိုယ္မစားပဲဝယ္ေကြၽးခဲ႔ရလို႔ သူ႕ပိုက္ဆံကိုႏွေမ်ာခဲ႔မွာ။ ခုအဲ႔ဒီ ရည္းစားကိုလြမ္းလို႔ မဟုတ္ပဲ ၾကက္ဆီထမင္းေလး လြမ္းလို႔ ခ်စ္ေသာခင္ပြန္းကိုလဲအစားေကာင္းေလး စားေစခ်င္လို႔ခ်က္ပါမယ္ေနာ္။
စားဖူးသမ်ႇ စင္ကာပူက ၾကက္ဆီထမင္းအၾကိဳက္ဆုံးမို႔ အဲဒီပုံစံအတိုင္းခ်က္ပါမယ္။

The first time I had had the rice with chicken was with my first ever date. Can’t remember the name of the restaurant. I loved it since then. Didn’t enjoy it until I full up as I was with my first love on my first date. So I was a bit of a poser by lowering my eye lids and pretending that I couldn’t eat much with the thought that I would buy myself in a later date. Thinking of it, he must have been a bit reluctant to pay as he didn’t order for himself and paid for me for a waste as I didn’t finish it. Now I am going to cook this not because of I miss him but because I miss the food and I’d like to cook for my beloved husband as I like him to eat a good food too. Singapore style is by far my most favourite than any varieties, so I will cook for it.

-ၾကက္သြန္ျဖဴ ဥၾကီး ၂ဥ
-ၾကက္သားမႈန္႔ ၁ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)
-ေရခဲနဲနဲ
-ပဲငံျပာေရ ၾကည္ ၁ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္) နဲ႔   အ ေနာက္ဇြန္း ၁ ဝက္ေရာထားပါ

ၾကက္အေကာင္လိုက္ကို ေရစင္စင္ေဆးျပီး ၾကက္သြန္ျဖဴ ဥၾကီး ၂ဥ၊ ၾကက္သားမႈန္႔ ၁ဇြန္း တို႔နဲ႔ ေရ ၁လီတာခြဲခန္႕ထဲ႔ျပဳတ္ပါ။

Contents

-1 whole chicken

-2 big whole garlic

-1 tbl spoon of chicken powder

-a bit of ice

-1 tbl spoon of Light soy sauce and half tbl spoon of dark soy sauce

Wash thoroughly the whole chicken and boil it with 1 and half litre of water, two whole garlic and chicken powder.

ျပဳတ္ေနရင္း တတ္လာေသာ အျမဳပ္မ်ားဖယ္ပစ္ပါ။ ၾကက္သားႏူးတဲ႔အထိျပဳတ္ျပီးရင္ ၾကက္ကိုျပဳတ္ေရထဲမွထုတ္ျပီး ေရခဲစိမ္ထားေသာ ေရခဲေရထဲသို႔ ၁မိနစ္ခန္႕စိမ္ထားပါ။ အဲဒါမွၾကက္သားအေပၚရံတင္းသြားျပီး အတြင္းပိုင္းႏူးအိေနပါတယ္။

Remove the forth that formed during the boiling. After the chicken is boiled inside out, take it out and soak it under ice cold water for a minute. So that the top skin part would  be firmed while inside would still be soft and delicate.

 

ျပီးရင္ ၾကက္တေကာင္လုံးကို ေရာထားေသာပဲငံျပာရည္မ်ားနဲ႔ ဆုပ္နယ္ထားပါ။

Then, the whole chicken is to be soaked with the mixed soy sauce.

-ဆန္၃ခြက္ ( ထမင္းေပါင္းအိုးကခြက္)
-ဆြမ္းေမႊးရြက္၂ရြက္ ထုံးထား(မရွိရင္ ၾကက္သြန္ျမိတ္သုံးပါ)
-ဂ်င္းpaste ၃ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)၊ ပဲငံျပာရည္အၾကည္၁ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)၊ ၾကက္သြန္ျဖဴ ၃မႊာ( ဒါးျပား႐ိုက္ျပီး)
-ၾကက္သားမႈန္႔ ၁ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)
-ဆီ ၂ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)
ထမင္းေပါင္းအိုးထဲမွာ ဆီထဲ႔ျပီး ၾကက္သားမႈန္႔ ၁ဇြန္း၊ ဂ်င္း ၃ဇြန္း၊ ပဲငံျပာရည္အၾကည္၁ဇြန္း၊ ၾကက္သြန္ျဖဴ ၃မႊာ( ဒါးျပား႐ိုက္ျပီး) တို႔ကိုဆြမ္းေမႊးရြက္နဲ႔အတူ အပူေပးပါ။ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးေမႊးလာရင္ ေဆးထားေသာဆန္မ်ားကို ထဲ႔ပါ။

To cook rice

-3 cups of rice from rice cooker

-2 pendan leaves knotted, if it is not available use spring onion.

-3 tbl spoons of ginger paste, 1 tbl spoon of light soy sauce, 3 smashed segment garlic by flat knife

-1 tbl spoon of chicken powder

-2 tbl spoons of cooking oil

Heat the rice cooker with cooking oil and then add all the other ingredients until smells good then add the washed rice.

 

ၾကက္ျပဳတ္ရည္ ကိုေရအမွတ္ ၄ထိထဲ႔ထားျပီးခ်က္ထားလိုက္ပါ။ ထမင္းက်က္သြားတာနဲ႔ ထမင္းေပၚကို ေစာေစာကၾကက္ကိုတင္ျပီ ထားထားလိုက္တယ္။ အဲဒီလို မထားပဲစားခါနီးမွ microwave နဲ႔ေႏႊးစားလဲေကာင္းပါတယ္ေနာ္။

Add the boiled chicken soup to water level 4 in a rice cooker and cook it. Once it is cooked, put the boiled chicken in the cooker. Or you can just microwave before serving.

-ၾကက္သားမႈန္႕၁ဇြန္း(စားပြဲတင္)


ေရာၾကိတ္လိုက္ပါ။ၾကက္ဆီထမင္းနဲ႔တြဲစားရင္ အရမ္းေကာင္းပါတယ္။ ဒါမလုပ္ျဖစ္ရင္ sweet chilli sauce တို႔  soy sauce တို႔န႔႔ဲ စားလဲရပါတယ္ေနာ္.

ၾကက္ျပဳတ္ေရကို ၾကက္သြန္ျမိတ္ေလးျဖဴးျပီး ပူပူေလးတြဲသုံးေဆာင္ပါ။

Sauce for Chicken rice

-2 spring onion

-3 tbl spoons of ginger paste

-3 segments of garlic

-2 tbl spoons of light soy sauce, 1 tbl spoon of chicken powder

Blend them all and it is nice to go with this chicken rice. Sweet chilli or soy sauce themselves are good with it too. You can enjoy the chicken soup sprinkled with spring onions while hot.

  5. If cook with pandan leave, the rice color become green or not.
    Coz one time my sis cooked with pandan leave and the white rice color change to green color.
