ဘယာေၾကာ္ ပူပူေလး/ Deep fried warm Chana Dal

ရန္ကုန္လို ေနရာမ်ိဳးမွာ ဘယာေၾကာ္ ဆိုတာေပါမွေပါ။ ကုလားအိမ္ ဗမာအိမ္ အကုန္လုံးၾကိဳက္ၾကတယ္၊ အထူးသျဖင့္ ဗမာေတြ  ယၾတာေခ် ရင္သုံးၾကတယ္ေနာ္။ အခုေတာ့ ဒီမွာ သတ္သတ္မဲ႔ လုပ္စားတာပါ။ ဘုရားလဲတင္ ရင္းေပါ့။
ပါဝင္ပစၥည္းမ်ား
-ကုလာပဲ ဆန္ခ်ိန္ခြက္ ၁ခြက္
-ဆား၊ ၾကက္သားမႈန္႕(လိုသေလာက္)
-ငရုတ္သီးစိမ္း ၇ ေတာင့္
– ၾကက္သြန္နီ ၁လုံး
-ပ်ဥ္ေတာ္သိမ္ ၃ရြက္
-မဆလာ ၂ဇြန္း( အခ်ိဳစားဇြန္း)

Deep fried chana dal can be found almost anywhere in Yangon. Every Indian households, Burmese households love it. Particularly the Burmese when it comes to follow the advice of an astrologer to  avert the impending event then this deep fried chana dal is used. I have done this not for this purpose but for us to simply eat it as well as to offer to the Lord Buddha Image as an alms food. The contents are, chana dal, salt, chicken powder, green chilli, onion and Marsala, curry leaves.

ကုလားပဲကို တညေရစိမ္ထားပါတယ္၊ ေနာက္တေန႕မနက္မွာ ၾကိတ္လိုက္ပါတယ္၊

Chana dal are immersed in water overnight and blend it the next day morning.

ငရုတ္သီးစိမ္း နဲ႔ ၾကက္သြန္ကိုပါးပါးလီွးျပီး ဆား၊ ၾကက္သားမႈန္႕၊ မဆလာနဲနဲ (ကုလားေလးမဆလာ သုံးထားပါတယ္) ကိုေရာလိုက္ပါ၊ ပ်ဥ္ေတာ္သိမ္, မဆလာ ထဲ႔ရင္ ေၾကာ္တဲ႔အခါေတာ္ေတာ္ ေမႊးပါတယ္၊

Mix the chana dal paste with slices of green chilli, onions, salt, chicken powder and Marsala (kalarlay brand is used). By using Marsala, it really smells nice when you fry.

အိုးနက္နက္ေလးထဲ ဆီမ်ားမ်ားထဲ႔ျပီး မီးအေနေတာ္ေလးနဲ႔ ေၾကာ္လိုက္ပါ၊ ေရႊညိဳေရာင္ေလးသန္းလာရင္ ဆယ္ျပီး အခ်ဥ္ေရ နဲ႔တြဲစားပါေနာ္

In a deep frying pan, pour considerable amount of oil into it and fry them with medium heat. When it turns goldish, sieve it and enjoy with the sauce.

ငရုတ္ဆီ နဲ႔ မက်ည္းေရကိုေရာ ၾကက္သြန္ျဖဴစိတ္ေလး၊ ငရုတ္သီးစိမ္းကိုပါးပါးလီွးထားတာေလးထဲ႔ ဆား၊ ၾကက္သားမႈန္႕၊ ငံျပာရည္နဲနဲ ထဲ႕လိုက္ရင္ရပါျပီ။

The chilli sauce and tamarind paste liquid are mixed with small slices of garlic, green chilli, salt, chicken powder and fish sauce would make a lovely sauce for it. Enjoy.

  1. ဟင္းခ်က္နည္းေတြထဲမွာ ၾကက္သားမႈံ႔ မပါရင္ မရေတာ့ဘူးလား..ၾကက္သားမႈံ႕ဆိုတာ အရင္တံုးက ရွိမွမရွိခဲ့ဘူးတာ..အဲဒီအမႈံ႕မပါဘဲနဲ႔ အရသာရွိေအာင္ ဖန္တီးလို႔ မရေတာ့ဘူးလား..
